In the eyes of His followers, any criticism of President Barack Obama is the same as a crucifixion of their Lord and Savior.

Anatomy of a World Leader

Anatomy of a World Leader by Alex Grey

After hearing Barack Obama’s speech in BerIin, and noting the degree of excitement and hope that he generated throughout many countries besides the US, I started to see him as one of the first true “world leaders.” This may be partly because of his extraordinary childhood and political life that has bridged many cultures. Obama’s restraint and intelligence, exhibited as foes were bating him throughout the campaign, his heartful clarity coming through in his talks are all qualities of a highly evolved person.

We need to consider our planetary citizenship, because solving the world’s ecological and economic problems, and creating a culture of peace and reconciliation will require the co-operation of all nations.

Perhaps you can use this symbol of Barack Obama to send him a prayer of support, to send all the loving hopeful healing and creative energy that we can focus on him so that he can perform the task of leadership in the most effective and powerful way for the greatest good, for the greatest number.

Obama Graffiti

Obama graffiti

I saw this on U Street NW, Washington, DC between 16th & 15th Streets. It strikes me as Obama done in the style of a “Get Your War On” cartoon.

Update 1: This same piece of graffiti seen in Denver. Now I want to know the story behind this.

Update 2: The artist is Scot Lefavor from Denver. A similar Obama piece and other work can be purchased at his online store. Scot is also responsible for these neat “ads”.

Barack Obama – Peace on Earth

“I am the guy who will always stand by your side

Give you opportunities and money in your pocket

Don’t you worry – let the worries away ride

I’ll be your superman and fly like a rocket

“There is no one other – I’m the one

I am the man with the super sign on

Giving you what real power is and test

And you will have to imagine with me the rest

“Because I have the powers of kryptonite

There is no way to test such might

But just come with me and see what I can

Together we can – yes we can! Because I’m superman

“Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!

Because I’m superman”

From the poem “I’m Superman” by Peter S. Quinn that appeared on

“I’m Asking You to Believe …” ~~Barack Obama

Rock for Barack
On 22 July 2008, these adults met at the “Sing-out for change, rock for Barack” fundraiser at the Oakland Mills Meeting House in Columbia, Maryland. There, these adults converted a religious song written in praise of the Lord Jesus into a “Song of Praise to Barack Obama.” Photos of the event were to be published at

“This Little Light of Mine” is an old-time American Spiritual which has been resurrected from the oblivion of religious intolerance by enthusiastic worshipers of Barack Obama. They have since removed the video of themselves in worship to Obama.

A New “‘Cross of Gold’

William Jennings Bryan, is known for his speech that mesmerized the masses, the “Cross of Gold Speech.” Delivered on 9 July 1896, at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, it has been known as the most famous speech in American political history.

That historic record has changed since the Democratic National Convention of 2008, when 38 million people were mesmerized by the speech of Barack Obama. The convention speech of Mr. Obama, the first African American nominee of a major political party, reached far more viewers than any candidates in 2004. John Kerry’s acceptance speech then had 24.4 million viewers; George W. Bush’s speech drew 27.5 million. In contrast, Barack Obama speech reached more viewers than the Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing, the final “American Idol” or the Academy Awards of this year, according to “The New York Times.”
