Ever since word spread about the family of President-elect Barack Obama prefering the chocolate chunk cookies at the Baby Boomers Cafe in Des Moines, Iowa, the business cannot bake them fast enough.
Sales of Baby Boomers’ cookies have trippled with requests coming from as far away as Mexico. Alas, the price is rising too, from 50 cents each to 75 cents a cookie to take advantage it the popularity.
Everyone seems to be thinking that if Barack Obama likes it, it must be a great cooke, for he will be a great president and the world will be a happy place under his regime. Barack Obama is going to fix all of the world’s problems and anyone who takes a bite of this cookie is going to feel really good inside.
